Welcome reception
Was held in Prague congress centre 2nd June, right after the end of official scientific programme. The welcoming atmosphere was created by a Czech folklore dance and musical group named Rosénka. Additionaly, the new film documentary NanoInLife guiding the guests through the real world of nanotechnology was launched.

Official dinner
The Official Dinner was held the 3rd June in a historical chateau Žofín Palace, which has been a leading centre of cultural and social life in Prague ever since 1837. We were happy to welcome the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education Youth and Sports, Mr. Vlastimil Růžička and the European Commission Representative, Mr. Christos Tokamanis, Head of the Unit Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies, giving their opening speeches.
A mellow and pleasant atmosphere with their music created a Czech jazz music legend Jana Koubková with her band Jana Koubková Quartet. It was a grand honour to have these musicians the night with us.
